Murderworld

A mutant-powered superhero text adventure.

Play as the 1989 lineup of the Uncanny X-Men as they fight to win back their weekend and escape the clutches of a maniac assassin. With several playable characters over the course of multiple hours-worth of gameplay, this grand adventure offers superhero drama and murderous fun.

• You can play the game online in the window above (desktop only).
• Or, download the ZIP file and run the included "play.html" file. It'll open and play in your default browser independently.
• Or, download the ZIP file and play the included "gblorb" game file in an interactive fiction interpreter. You can find a list of popular interpreters at https://www.ifwiki.org/Glulx_interpreters.
• You can also play on iOS devices via the (free) Frotz app. 
  • Tap on "Story List", then "Browse IFDB", search for "Murderworld" in the bar at the top, tap on "External Links", and then the "Post-IFComp Release (IF Archive)" version. That'll bring you back to the Frotz app and Murderworld will have been added to the list of games.

The downloadable ZIP file also contains a walkthrough and a map image file.
